CYPRUS. Salamis. Phausis (?), circa 480-460 BC. Stater (Silver, 24 mm, 11.12 g, 10 h). ๐ ž๐ „/๐ ช๐ ฉ๐ ƒ ('pa-u/si-se-o' in Cypriot syllabic script) Ram recumbent left; above, pellet-in-crescent. Rev. Ankh-like symbol with ๐ ž ('pa' in Cypriot syllabic script) in center; around, ๐ ฉ-๐ ช-๐ -๐ ƒ ('se-si-le-o' in Cypriot syllabic script); across field, ๐  -๐ ’ ('pi-lo' in Cypriot syllabic script); all within incuse square. Struck from somewhat worn dies on an irregular flan, otherwise, very fine.
